Delivery & Returns Policy
Delivery dates for goods, though given in good faith are estimates only and subject to the relevant stock being available. Goods to order (non stocked items) will be delivered within 2-5 working days. We accept no responsibility and the purchaser has no right to cancel the order if delivery is delayed, unless we have specifically agreed in writing to deliver on a particular date.
All goods signed for by the customer indicates acceptance of the goods under our Terms and Conditions. ‘Not checked’ or ‘signed damaged’ or similar written in delivery documents, will not indicate seller responsibility.
If the buyer either fails to take delivery of the goods or to give the seller adequate delivery instruction that results in third party costs to the seller, the buyer without prejudice can be held responsible for recover of such costs.
Please make sure that on any confirmed delivery date someone is available to accept the goods as redelivery will usually mean an additional charge.
Lead times may vary with larger and heavy items such as slatwall.
Counters and gondolas will take up to 7 – 10 days and in busy periods up to 2 weeks
Deliveries are made on a non specified day Monday to Friday.
If a dedicated/timed delivery is required please request a quotation
Any discrepancies/damages must be reported to Shop Services Interiors / Retail Ltd by 12 p.m the next working day after delivery.
Pallet Delivery Information:
Due to the size and weight of pallet delivered, please make sure there is someone available to help unload, as this requires at least two people.
The delivery driver is not our employee and is only insured to get the delivery to you but may assist with unloading.
Economy delivery can take up to 5 working days and Express delivery can take up to 3 working days from the day your order is despatched.
Delivery Charges Calculation
Delivery costs are calculated automatically by weight at the checkout on our website. £8.95 plus VAT up to 10kg: £12.95 plus VAT 10kg-20kg 35 pence per kg thereafter.
Charges are influenced by different parameters in order to ensure your goods arrive in good condition at the named delivery address, to provide you with the best delivery service.
In the unfortunate event that you do have some damages on your delivery, you need to call us as soon as possible, and sign the driver’s paper work as ‘damaged’. If there is considerable damage, you may want to refuse the delivery, but please give us a call on 023 8058 2701 before you do this.
Returns & Liabilities
All bespoke joinery items are non returnable. All other goods are to be returned within a maximum of 14 working days with our prior consent and a 30% handling fee will be charged on the return of non stocked items. Any unwanted (non faulty) items may be returned at the customers own cost.
Any damages, shortages or problems must be reported to Shop Services Interiors / Retail Ltd by 12pm the next working day after delivery or collection.
Our liability in respect to damaged/delayed goods shall not exceed the invoice value of the goods (excluding VAT) and our liability shall not extend to consequential or indirect loss or damage.
Shop Services Interiors / Retail Ltd will not be liable for defaults resulting from actions beyond their reasonable control.
